¿Qué consejos le darías a la inmobiliaria?
To send detailed receipts of monthly rental payments. To step up and do something real about maintenance and not just pass on messages to the owners who don't do anything. To act on behalf of tenants when the need arises and not merely bow down to the whims of landlords.
¿Qué consejos le darías al casero?
To take full responsibility of ownership (e.g. fix the main entry door, fix intercoms) and stop being rentiers, speculators and exploiters of housing when they have much more than what they need. To provide a fair and affordable housing service to the community rather than leeching off fellow citizens. To fulfil the law of affordable social rent to vulnerable people (24/2015).

The building is undergoing reform converting two floors per level into three ranging from 45 - 56 m2, previously 88 m2. This has been going for the last 4 and a half years with intolerable noise, dust, workmen everywhere and a total lack of information and respect for tenants.

The only reason they have been reforming flats after 25 years of my tenancy has been to reduce flat size and increase rent, doubling or more the price of rentals in the building. The building is undergoing reforms forcing the eviction of neighbours (me) and contributing to the rapid gentrification of the neighbourhood. These rentiers must be stopped if Barcelona is to remain a city for its people.
